Bide are proud to be a Core Team Sponsor of the March of the Day Event taking place from 22-24th March. The 175 mile walk starting at Bradford's Valley Parade stadium and finishing at Liverpool FC's Anfield ground is being undertaken in support of the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation to raise awareness and funds to find improved treatments and ultimately a cure for the Motor Neurone Disease.

Stephen Darby and Marcus Stewart, both diagnosed with MND are taking part, along with multiple ex-professional footballers and current and ex managers, as well as many teams of walkers supporting the cause.

Dr Tom Adler, inventor and co-founder of Bide joined ex-professional footballer Jamie Hoyland last week to undertake part of the route prior to the event, further highlighting the cause.

Tom was a GP for 30 years in the Peak District and cared for a number of his patients who had MND, so is well aware of the devastating nature of the disease. Tom commented, "This is a really important cause for us to support, and we are sure that the national coverage of the event will make a real difference".

Gaining coverage with live updates on BBC and Sky TV, the March of the Day will raise the profile of the MND community and Bide are delighted to play a small part in contributing to this.
